They might not sting, but when you have giant green darners the size of small birds literally pelting you, you tend not to “enjoy the experience”. Took two cans of wasp spray to kill that one. Now I’m currently stuck in my truck and it’s midnight and this one won’t let me out to get to my house. They can absolutely be aggressive towards people. And territorial towards people and other birds.
